Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
The Hebrew meaning of Enoch is an extreme form of commitment to God; an extremist; extremely devoted to God.
Enoch walked with God at an extreme level for 300 years and he ultimately avoided death itself; to the point where God just took him from the earth.
Enoch’s son Methuselah lived for 969 years and is the oldest living person in history. Not only is extreme devotion to God the elixir of a long and healthy life; it can also impact your future generations.
Enoch walked with God – God did not walk with Enoch – Enoch walked with God. He walked God’s path; not his own or anyone else’s.
You cannot be an extremist and obtain its rewards if you do not walk WITH GOD; the way Enoch did. He moved when God moved; he went where God went.
Many people are living a convenient Christianity – on their terms, on their time and have God interspersed in their life.
Enoch avoided death and there are only two other people in history to do so – Jesus, the son of God Himself who rose from the dead and the great prophet, Elijah who was carried to heaven in a chariot of fire.
Enoch avoided the fear and experience of death by transferring from one dimension to the other – the only thing that separates heaven and earth is atmosphere. Enoch was a mere human which means it is possible for every one of us to do the same.
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Enoch did not have the written word to reference when he wanted to check his thoughts and actions – he was born before Moses, the law giver. He was moved by faith and it was his faith that pleased God and yet he was born before Abraham, the father of faith.
In fact, Enoch brought something out of God that would be the transcript for Abraham to live by. There was something deep within him that surged through his being to have such an audacious faith. Faith does not need a message or vision; it just needs a simple belief.
Money is the currency in the material world
Faith is the currency in the supernatural world
Faith brings completion, wholeness and gives you access to things that would normally be out of your physical reach.
You only live as good as you believe. Faith allows you to receive things from the atmosphere.
With faith as small as a mustard seed; you can move mountains. Your faith can put you into better places in life.
Faith decreases stress, anxiety and worry. Faith can be developed and grown.
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Out of all of the qualities Jesus could have prayed for Peter to receive, Jesus prayed that Peter’s faith should not fail. His faith would strengthen the faith of his brothers. A robust faith will save your life; in your times of trouble faith will keep you strong and strengthen others.
Sometimes your walk with God will cost you your walk with certain friends and as your faith increases, so will your dependency on other people decrease. Your human nature has a tendency to settle and seek affirmation and support from others rather than challenge yourself to leave your current level and rise up. But faith causes you to believe stronger than you ever have before; to lift your sights to live higher. Don’t let other people’s thinking be your thinking. Stretch to believe beyond what you think you can handle.
You cannot move up levels without victory over devils – you have to fight for every inch but it is better to fight and moving ever so slowly than remain stagnant and stand still.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
TO PLEASE - the pleasure and gratification of someone
Every time raw faith is activated in a believer God has a sense of pleasure and gratification.
Faith causes God such a high that nothing comes down!! Once God is stimulated everything around you will increase.
God has such an attraction and affection to faith. It causes Him such delight that He cannot help but move with you, for you and toward you
While faith stimulates God – it also stimulates you. It is the high of all highs without any side effects.
FAITH GIVES EVERYTHING YOU NEED – FAITH IS THE EARTH SHAKING, MIRACLE WORKING, MOUNTAIN MOVING POWER THAT DWELLS WITHIN YOU. Everyone have been given a measure of faith – believe in your heart and speak with your mouth, you can change your world.
How are you can grow our faith? Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:13-15
but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior.
In order to grow your faith, you must be in the proximity of a preached word that is faith-activating and Holy Spirit-filled. God manifested His word by preaching.
Not all churches are created equal and not all preaching is same. There is dry preaching and then there is faith-growing preaching. Something in you responds to something in the preached word… Your Faith!
Words can contain many things - venom, self-agenda and even good intentions.
But the only word that will grow you must contain FAITH
Frame your world with faith, strengthened and grown by the power of the preached word.
GAS UP EVERY SUNDAY – on the word of a good preacher.
